Brazilian Restaurant, apart from the americanized churrascarias steakhouses, Samba Cafe inspired by the traditional Brazilian Cuisine. Throughout its history, Minas Gerais was home to many gold/diamond mining booms (the name means “General Mines”), Mineira food in Brazil, and it is considered the classic kind of Brazilian “home cooking.”
An essential part of mineira cuisine is its focus on home life brought to this authentic Brazilian Restaurant.
All of the Mineiro's favorites dishes are on display: chicken and quiabo (okra), couve mineira (collard greens), tutu de feijão, roast pork, roast pumpkin, veggie omelettes, a variety of soups, sausage and rice, farofa. Also, the wonderful brazilian flan, and the Passion Fruit Mousse. There's also salads made with fresh carrots, beets, hearts of palms, raisins, and olive oil. The Samba Cafe is a great Brazilian Restaurant for hearty Mineira cuisine with no frills, and gives you a taste of typical local fare.
It's impossible to go to Minas Gerais and not have something good to eat.
